The Study Center was created by Roberto Duailibi in July 1997. Mr. Duailibi has long been an enthusiast in the historical research of his own family. The Center’s goal is to recover the FamilyD endeavor, collect images and documents and study the Lebanese immigration to Brazil as well as its history, through the work of a dedicated team of historians, researchers and journalists.

The www.familyd.net site is not for FamilyD members only and may be accessed by any person interested in Lebanese culture. However, registration is required to post pictures and stories and is only available to members of the Duailibi, Dualibi, Dawalib, Dwaleebee families, including all other surname spellings of the same family origin.

For membership registration, just click on JOIN US and fill out the corresponding form. All personal information will be kept in strict confidentiality. We will only publish the registered family member’s name and the pictures and stories he or she wishes to post. Once all registration info is confirmed, the Study Center staff will send an e-mail to inform you that your registry is complete. Now you may edit your profile and post pictures and stories.
